Info SE European Fashion&Luxury Index

The SE European Fashion&Luxury Index was launched on 7th of June 2023.

Purpose

The Index aims to provide an overview of the level of Sustainability within the sector as well as to monitor the steps taken by the constituent companies. Standard Ethics indices are Open Free Sustainability indices and offer full disclosure: the methodology, selection criteria, and calculation formula are public and can, therefore, be used for free as a benchmark by decision makers and stakeholders. It is neither a financial product nor is it marketed to finance firms, banks, or investment funds.

Constituents

This is a thematic Index consisting of 20 largest listed companies in the fashion and luxury industry. The Index constituents were selected on the basis of their market capitalisation as well as taking into account other factors such as free float.

Rebalancing and Review

The Index, being weighted according to the Corporate Standard Ethics Rating (SER) assigned to each constituent, is active and therefore rebalanced monthly.

The Index is reviewed every six months, at the end of the first and third quarter. 

Changes to ratings will be recorded only on the dates when the review is scheduled to take place.
